    Description: Nicolas Roerich (Nikolai Roerich) was a Russian painter, who made Naggar his home for the last few years of his life. He travelled extensively through Tibet and the Himalayas. Nicolas Roerich lived in Naggar from the late 1920s till 1947. Now his home has been converted into the Roerich Museum.
