Chief Minister lays foundation stone of Primary Health Centre at Kuthera in Hamirpur that will cost around Rs. 43 lakh. During the ceremony Chief Minister discusses Matri Seva Yojna benefits with the local people. He said that Matri Seva Yojna provides facility for free institutional delivery to pregnant women of the State that is available in all government health institutions in the State. In this scheme 25,053 safe deliveries had been carried in the State that cost around 2.03 crore to the state exchequer.
Prof. Dhumal also talk on State Government new scheme Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna that provides health insurance cover to the BPL families upto Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 1.75 lakh in case of critical ailments. He said that 24,003 eligible persons had been benefited from the scheme and Rs. 9.03 crore was spent over it.
