Associated Cements Company (ACC) donated Rs. 1 crore for laying of a modern synthetic track at Hamirpur. Company has already donated Rs. 1.25 crore for this synthetic track. Director-Plant Rakesh Sinha presented the draft to the Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal.
In reply Chief Minister thanked the Management of the ACC for their generosity shown towards creation of quality and world class sports infrastructure in the State to facilitate young and budding sports talents polish their talent under the supervision of experienced and competent coaches.
He appealed the other entrepreneurs to come forward to become partner in the development of the State and donate liberally towards infrastructural creation and social welfare activities. He said that such a gesture will not only help in development of the state but will also earn goodwill to the industrial sector in long run.
