Four days long national level Alpine Premier League Skiing tournament today kicked off from the Solang valley. Chief Minister P. K Dhumal flagged off the contingents of 32 teams representing 300 participants all over the country. During the next four days these teams compete in 14 disciplines of skiing like Slalom, giant slalom, women slalom, junior boys and girls slalom, children giant slalom, Snow board, cross country and finally mens veteran giant slalom. All representing teams are come from different clubs from Shimla, Narkanda, Gulmarg, Delhi, Uttrakhand, Navy, ITBP, Army and other institutions. Participants are being provided lodging and boarding facilities free of coast.
