Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ramesh Dhawala said that Hindustan Petroleum and Indian Oil Corporation have been urged to take remedial measures for regular and uninterrupted supply of commercial and domestic LPG demand. He said that though due to some snag in Hindustan Petroleum, LPG Plant at Jind, the supply was affected partially but the situation was restored normal due to the efforts of the State Government. He warned all the LPG distributors to maintain proper supply and may not intentionally show shortage of the same for which they would invite penalty, adding that the distributors should cooperate with the Government for checking misuse of domestic LPG cylinders by commercial users.
